Before the start of each semester, you must re-register by paying the required fees/contributions to confirm that you wish to continue studying. You will receive a reminder email to your university email address.

You can re-register for the next semester only by activating your one-time debit authorization in the campus management system. A personal appearance is not required.

Timetables can be found online via the faculty pages and via the “Calendar” menu item of the HKA-APP.

The faculties use different platforms. The semester or exam schedule can also be accessed via the respective faculty’s website. All faculties can be found at:

Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences provides a calendar of relevant events Events Calendar as well as a calendar on all relvant dates of the current and the next semester Semester dates

In order to “repair” the (temporary) lack of semester schedules in the HKA-APP for iOS this must be done as follows:
In Settings > Calendar > Accounts > Add Account > Other >
Add subscribed calendar > Server: https://api.hosts.hka-app.de/api/calendar/v1/schedule/current
Add subscribed calendar > Server: https://api.hosts.hka-app.de/api/calendar/v1/schedule/next
Add subscribed calendar > Server: https://api.hosts.hka-app.de/api/calendar/v1/ersti/tasks
After these entries, the three entries should appear under Calendar > Accounts > Subscribed Calendars >
Schedule Ss 2024, schedule Ws 2024, tasks Ss 2024
These can then be activated in the calendar list in the HKA APP for iOS.

Also, there may be additional faculty-specific events. In the internal area of the university website Login you can select your faculty after logging in and inform you further.
