You can only register for exams via Online-Services, Prüfungsmanagement und Noteneinsicht at the university, only in the HKA eduroam and in the HsKA-8021x Wi-Fi.

You are usually automatically registered for examinations of the current semester and for scheduled subjects (= compulsory examinations) as well as for examinations from previous semesters that have not yet been taken or have not been passed, but it is still advisable to check this again. You must register separately for language course exams. It should also be noted that you are not automatically registered for repeat examinations during the practical semester. So if you want to take exams during this semester, you have to register yourself. Please note that in the practical semester you are only allowed to write a maximum of two exams from previous semesters

If you are unable to write an exam due to illness and the deregistration period has expired, you must report this immediately to the degree program secretariat and submit a medical certificate. Some courses provide a form for the case of illness, which must be filled out by the doctor treating you.

If an exam is not a scheduled subject or a repeat exam, it can be postponed. If you decide to postpone an exam during the registration period, you simply remove the relevant exam from the registration list in the online service. If the registration period has already expired, you must also deregister from the exam in the online service. This can be done up to two days before the exam date. (The mention of “a whole calendar day” often leads to misunderstandings). At a later point in time, deregistration is only possible with a medical certificate.

If you only just missed the deadline, please report back directly and inform the student office by email to studieninfo@h-ka.de, stating your matriculation number. Otherwise, after a while, the student office will send a payment request with reminder fees of up to 20 euros to your university email address.
